The Naperville Heritage Society's permanent collections include over 38,000 two- and three-dimensional items, including household and industrial objects; furniture, clothing, textiles, paintings, sculptures, architectural fragments, transportation artifacts and agricultural implements; prints, photographs, films, audio/video tapes and multimedia; plus business, institutional and personal archives, such as original manuscripts and documents including diaries, letters, ledgers and journals. The majority of the museum's three-dimensional artifacts are displayed in settings at Naper Settlement, which depict their original use.
