Plan to spend from two to four hours enjoying, observing and participating in what Naper Settlement has to offer, plus potentially longer during special events and educational programming. Be sure to allow time to stop in our Museum Store, available with or without admission.
 

Summer Season - April through October

Our 12-acre village comes to life during the summer season. Enter the buildings and meet costumed interpreters who will share the experiences of daily life, work and celebration in a 19th century Midwestern town. Stroll the grounds and feel free to talk with the young people involved in old-fashioned children's activities. Naper Settlement is proud to participate in Blue Star Museums. All active duty service members (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard), National Guard and Reserve, and up to five immediate family members, including spouse, child or sibling, are free from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Winter Season - November through March

During Winter Season, though the village building interiors are closed to the public, your admission includes a self-guided audio tour of the village grounds and Visitor Center, where you will find a changing exhibit hall and our award winning "Brushstrokes of the Past...Naperville's Story" interactive exhibit, the Tavern and the Museum Store.

Group Visits

Groups of 20 or more individuals planning to visit Naper Settlement should contact the visitor Services Department for group rate information. Call well in advance, as some dates can fill up quickly. Before calling, have the number of adults and children attending, the date you'd like to visit, plus alternate dates. • The Naper Settlement Museum, Museum Store and Business Offices are closed on Mondays, New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
